# Price history

How a product's price has moved over time. It shows whether today's price is actually good. It begins the day the daily price check starts, and cannot be filled in backwards. As of October 23, 2026, each of the 376 products in the Vessim index has a single price reading, so there is no history yet.

## Why it matters at Vessim

Vessim will not fill it in backwards, so it starts on the first day the check runs.
