Faster, readable by everyone, and easier to share
- Speed and access
Every page passes an accessibility check
Nineteen pages checked at desktop and phone width with an automated accessibility scanner, with zero serious or critical problems left: readable contrast on the glowing text, names on every icon button, and a visible focus ring.
See it : Every page passes an accessibility check - Speed and access
The light paints instantly
Every moving visual now has a still frame underneath it, so the page looks finished the moment it loads instead of waiting for the animation to start.
- Search
A share card for every search
Send someone a search and the link previews the answer itself: what you asked, the cheapest that fits and how many match.
See it : A share card for every search - Honesty
Analytics with no cookies
We count visits and the few steps that matter (a search, a click to a store) without cookies, without tracking IDs and without anything that follows you to another site.
- The site
The homepage, finished
Twenty-one chapters, from “say what you want” to the close. The floating search bar now stays where it belongs, and frosted glass actually blurs in Chrome.

Plus, a search from anywhere, and one lit world
- Plus
Vesim Plus opens as a waitlist
Unlimited alerts, price history and buy-now-or-wait verdicts, for $4.99 a month or $39 a year. It is a waitlist: those features need a daily price check that has not started, and nobody is billed before it does.
See it : Vesim Plus opens as a waitlist - Search
Search from any page with ⌘K
Press ⌘K (Ctrl K on Windows) anywhere on the site and ask. The answer opens in the app.
See it : Search from any page with ⌘K - The site
The whole site, lit the same way
One lighting system for every page: a light source per section, lit edges on cards, and a soft glow behind the page that shifts as you scroll.
- The site
A help centre
The questions people ask first, answered in one place: how matching works, what we keep, and what the extension can see.
See it : A help centre - The app
The app gets its light, and Plus
A lit shell, answers that arrive with their reasoning, a “Why this?” drawer on every result, suggestions as you type and “did you mean” when a word is misspelled.
See it : The app gets its light, and Plus - The site
A footer worth scrolling to
Search, Plus and the extension, a sitemap of every page, and when the index was last built.

The app becomes an app, and the site gets its pages
- The app
A full app at /a
Results, the product view, compare, lists and history, kept on your own device rather than in an account. Searching happens in your browser, so answers appear as you type.
See it : A full app at /a - Speed and access
The homepage got fast on phones
Mobile speed score from 59 to 90, desktop from 81 to 99. Product photos now come through our own server, at the size they are shown.
- Search
Did you overpay?
Paste what you bought and see every price we can find for the same photo.
See it : Did you overpay? - Search
Head-to-head comparisons
Two genuinely related products side by side, with every seller of each.
See it : Head-to-head comparisons - Extension
Try the extension before installing it
The extension page now opens on a live demo, running on a real listing.
See it : Try the extension before installing it - The site
Guides, findings and a short film
Plain-language buying guides on a paper reading page, findings from the index as a magazine, a short film of the app, and a 404 page that helps you find your way.
See it : Guides, findings and a short film - Honesty
Legal pages that say what is true
Terms, privacy and shipping rewritten to describe what Vesim actually does: we sell nothing, hold no stock, and keep almost nothing about you.

The method becomes the page
- Matching
See the matching for yourself
All 74,691 photo pairs in the index drawn by how different they are, two listings that are the same photo under two names, and a near miss we refuse to merge even though the titles are word for word the same.
See it : See the matching for yourself - The app
Paste a link or drop a photo
Paste any product page or drop a photo into the app. The photo is turned into a 64-bit fingerprint in your browser and never uploaded.
See it : Paste a link or drop a photo - Honesty
Two invented prices, removed
Two demonstrations showed prices from stores we had never connected. Both now use real listings from the index, and a check fails the build if that ever happens again.
- Stores
Two network adapters, written
FlexOffers and Rakuten, the two networks that each bring thousands of stores, now have adapters written and tested. They run the day the keys arrive.
See it : Two network adapters, written - Honesty
Amazon, corrected
We had the bar for Amazon's product data wrong: it is 3 sales in 180 days to get in, not 10 in 30. We also dropped a plan to buy Amazon data from a third party.
See it : Amazon, corrected - The app
One answer, not a catalogue
The app rebuilt around a single question: what is the cheapest one that fits what you said?
See it : One answer, not a catalogue - The site
Findings, About and Origins
Findings written from the index itself, who we are and why, and a globe of where everything ships from.
See it : Findings, About and Origins

The match engine, and an extension to ask it
- Matching
98% recall, zero false matches
The matching threshold re-measured on 60 real product photos: at 10 bits out of 64 it finds 98% of true matches with zero false ones across 1,762 pairs of different products.
See it : 98% recall, zero false matches - Extension
The browser extension
It spots the product on the page you are on and asks who else sells the same photo. Only 64 bits of the photo leave your browser, and it can read image servers only, never every page you visit.
See it : The browser extension - Search
Say it in a sentence
“A backpack under $25 that ships from the US” becomes a set of requirements, and every product is checked against each one.
See it : Say it in a sentence - The app
The app gets a search
Results laid out as a decision: every requirement, which products meet it, and the cheapest that meets all of them.
See it : The app gets a search - Honesty
Affiliate links that cannot change the order
A commission tag is added only where a real account exists, never a placeholder, and the code that adds it cannot see prices or positions.

Next up, and how to hear about it.

Describe it. We'll show every price, which one fits, and tell you when nothing does.
