What it adds
What eBay brings, and what it doesn’t.
The limits get the same space as the benefits, because a search you can trust says what it cannot see.
Adds
- Independent sellers listing the same object, each with their own price
- A first-party source, so its prices come from eBay itself rather than a copy
- A marketplace benchmark: the price many people check first
Limits, honestly
- 5,000 calls a day is a budget, not a rate: it is spent carefully rather than waited out
- eBay's partner terms restrict passing eBay data through AI models without written approval, so we will not do that without it

How we reach it
The route in, and the money.
The route
eBay's official Browse API: free, first-party, about 5,000 calls a day. The adapter handles its two-hour tokens and counts its daily budget.
Commission
eBay's partner programme is a separate, clean step we have not taken. If we join it, it still never changes the order.
